Line Cook

You cook on a line that does Mexican and Italian food out of the same kitchen: tacos and enchiladas on one side, pasta and risotto on the other.

$18.50 to $22.00 an hour, depending on experience

What a night looks like

  • 01

You work the line during dinner service, Wednesday through Monday, cooking from both sides of the menu: tacos, enchiladas and street corn on one side, pasta, risotto and brick-oven pizza on the other.

  • 02

You prep before service — chopping, sauces, portioning — so the line is ready when the first ticket prints.

  • 03

You keep your station clean and stocked, and you plate the way the chef shows you.

  • 04

The owner trains you himself. If you have never worked a kitchen, that is fine. If you have, you will be trusted with more, faster.

Who does well here

Someone who likes working with their hands, stays calm when ten tickets print at once, and wants to actually learn to cook. You do not need a culinary school. You need to show up on time and care.
