We are closed on Tuesdays. Service runs from 4 pm, until 9 on weeknights and 9:30 on Friday and Saturday, so these are evening shifts, Wednesday through Monday.

We are a small Mexican and Italian restaurant on Front Street in Ballston Spa, and right now we are short-handed in the kitchen and out front. The owner is hiring for three positions. You do not need a resume to apply, and for the kitchen you do not need experience either: he trains you himself.

The kitchen
Line Cook
You cook on a line that does Mexican and Italian food out of the same kitchen: tacos and enchiladas on one side, pasta and risotto on the other.

You run the bar out front: the house margaritas, wine, beer, and the people sitting at it.

You take care of the tables: greet people, take the order, keep the night moving, and make sure every table leaves happy.

You do not need to have done it before
For the kitchen, experience is not required at all: the owner trains new cooks himself, on the line. For the bar and the dining room, experience helps but it is not a requirement either. Open the job you are interested in and it tells you the pay, the hours and exactly what the work is.

No resume needed
Fill the two-minute form and the owner gets it on his phone. Or walk in any evening except Tuesday, ask for him, and say you saw this page. Either way, he calls you and you come in to talk.
